what we collect and store
For visitors :
During your visit to the site, we track :
- Products you’ve seen: for example, to display products you’ve recently viewed or to make recommendations.
- Your location, IP address and browser type: we use them to estimate taxes and shipping costs.
- Your delivery address: we’ll ask you to enter this to estimate shipping costs before you place your order, and to send the order to you.
We allow your browser to store information such as the contents of your shopping cart, your Wishlist, your preferred language or your account login status in the form of cookies while you browse our site. If you create an account, we store your name, address, e-mail, and phone number, which will be used to pre-fill the order validation for future orders. For customers :
When you purchase on our website, we will ask you to provide information including your name, billing address, delivery address, e-mail, telephone number, payment/credit card details and possibly account details such as login and password. This information will be used in particular for :
- Sending information about your account and order
- Respond to requests, including refunds and complaints
- Payment processing and fraud prevention
- Setting up your account for our store
- Comply with any legal obligation, such as tax calculation
Your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address will also be passed on to the carrier you have chosen to enable them to deliver your package and keep you informed of its status. If you have your parcel sent outside the Schengen area, we will also transmit information about the contents of your parcel to the carrier so that customs procedures can be carried out. We store information indefinitely including your name, email and addresses to enable us to keep our records and contact you in the event of a problem. We are legally obliged to keep all information on your invoices for at least 10 years. We undertake not to pass on this information to third parties for commercial or canvassing purposes. You can request the deletion of data not required for billing purposes immediately or of all data concerning you after the 10-year period by sending an e-mail to the following address: contact@billesandco.paris We also store comments or notices, if you choose to send them.
Members of our team and those of our accounting firm have access to the information you provide to enable them to prepare and send your order, process refunds and assist you, and keep our accounts, for example:
- Order information such as what was purchased, when and where it should be sent,
- Customer information such as your name, e-mail address and billing and shipping information.
We accept payment by PayPal or by credit card via PayPal. When processing payments, certain data will be transmitted to our partner depending on the payment method chosen, including information required to complete the payment, such as the total amount or billing information. Our partners
To enable anti-spam filtering for our contact form, we use Google’s reCapcha service to track your activity on our site and verify that you are not a robot. This information is stored in cookies and transmitted to Google; Google’s privacy policy and terms of service therefore apply. PayPal also requires cookies throughout our site to function properly. PayPal’s privacy policy also applies.
